“A Brush with Colour” is a wonderfully colourful display of c.40 acrylic paintings, showcasing a selection of art works from members of the Maynooth Senior Citizens Thursday Morning Art Club. Organised by Maynooth Senior Citizens Committee, the Thursday art classes were led by Susan Durack with the help of members of the Committee. Lecture on the D-Day Landings. Operation Overlord was the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944 to liberate Western Europe from Nazi occupation during the Second World War.
